Daniel Johns - Music Video

Myself and 36 Newcastle animators have created the 2494 individual frames of fellow Newcastle local Daniel Johns‘ music video for Going On 16 — a track which appears on his debut solo album, Talk.

Premiered at the Newcastle International Animation Festival’s opening night, the Going On 16 video came together after the Animate Daniel Johns Competition selected its 37 talented participants, who completed their mammoth task over two weeks.

As a group, each animator were given five seconds of footage (that’s about 55 frames) to animate.
